Dementia is a progressive brain dysfunction that leads to a decline in mental function and gradual restriction of daily activities.  Alzheimer’s disease, the most common from of dementia, gradually destroys a person’s memory and ability to learn, reason, make judgments, communicate and carry out daily activities.

Although there is currently no cure for the more than six million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease, new treatments are becoming more available as a greater understanding of this disease is achieved.  Research has also proven that care and support can greatly improve the quality of life of those suffering from Alzheimer’s as well as their caregivers.

Our Goal is to allow aging with independence and dignity .  Our daily living plan is activity based  and provides each resident with goal orientated direction to give our client’s a sense of purpose and a meaningful life.  In addition, we offer a support group for family’s and friends along with assistance to both residents and family’s as they travel this difficult path.

Each Resident of our 20 suites receives personal care and attention from our fully-trained staff.  We believe in providing personal attention to each on of our residence, we have the highest ratio of caregivers per resident, from one to one, to a maximum of six to one ratio.  This allows us to provide our residence with the personalized care specific to their individual needs.
